A sunstone affirmation - "I shine my light in service to others."
Known as a joyful stone, Sunstone inspires the nurturing of self in order to be of service to others. It restores enjoyment in life, good nature and provides a sense of abundance. (Hall, 2007, The Crystal Bible, p. 283 - 284.)
Sunstone also helps you transform and temper fiery emotions, like anger, envy or resentment, and channel them into productive avenues of creation and action.
Use sunstone when seeking abundance. It encourages independence and originality, is inspirational in revealing talents, and attracts fame and unexpected prosperity. It is an excellent “good luck” crystal for competitions - hello new car!
Sunstone encourages fair, empowering leadership that is motivated by being of service to the greater whole, rather than seeking power over others. Its energy is of benevolence and cooperation, of wanting to serve and support each individual for the benefit of the whole.
By harnessing the energy of sunstone, you can tap into your inner light and bring more joy and happiness into your life.

You can pop them in your pocket (or bra), use them in craft (check out our crystal chips), place them under your pillow and use them to make powerful, healing crystal grids. Then there's those of us who just love collecting them - their possibilities are as endless as they are beautiful. Check out our I'll Tumble 4 Ya Collection - it just keeps growing!
Care & Cleansing
Cleanse sunstone frequently using incense/sage smoke or in sunlight, or saltwater. Warm, soapy water is always a safe cleaning method for this stone. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners should be avoided. Feldspars are rapidly attacked by hydrochloric acid, so cleaning products containing bleach should also be avoided. Exposure to heat is not recommended for sunstone, but its colour is stable when exposed to light and won’t fade.
