I deal with chronic anxiety and poor self-esteem. I never feel that I am good enough and I'm constantly second-guessing myself. For these reasons I carry a piece of sodalite in my bra, pocket (well you get the drift), wherever I go.
Sodalite brings order and calmness to your mind. It encourages rational thought, (silencing my crazy, destructive inner monologue) objectivity, truth and intuition, along with talking about feelings. Sodalite brings emotional balance and calms panic attacks. I use sodalite to enhance my self-esteem, increase self-acceptance and promote self-trust.
For luck and success combine sodalite with serpentine, Iolite, goldstone, turquoise, red jasper, peridot, hematite, carnelian, fluorite, aventurine, and agate.
For increased psychic abilities pair sodalite with amethyst.

Sodalite is also called The Poet’s Stone. For writers, Sodalite will power your pen with eloquence and purpose. Pair sodalite with its creative friends like Lapis Lazuli and Aquamarine to really get your creative juices flowing.

Care & Cleansing
I cleanse my sodalite often with smoke but the best way to cleanse sodalite is moonlight. Polish it gently using a silk cloth. Place your crystals outside just after sunset. As you place the crystal manifest one thing you want to let go of. Retrieve your sodalite just after sunrise. Time your intention with the lunar phase to amplify the cleanse/charge.
However, unlike some crystals, you should NOT use water or salt to cleanse sodalite.
